Woodland Park, Lutheran Valley Retreat Wedding
Updated: May 8, 2020
THIS WEDDING WAS ADORABLE. I left this wedding with two new friends, Noah and Christi. The bride and groom are two of the most loving, patient, kind, and selfless people I have ever met. I found out I was photographing the wedding just a week prior, covering for an associate of mine who could no longer make it. I think I got fortunate with this because I couldn't have asked for a better wedding!
Christi and Noah met working at a Lutheran Valley Retreat summer camp. It turns out they had no interest in each other for the longest time, which is crazy given their undeniable chemistry! After a few years, they fell in love and decided to get married at the very place they met. It was Christi's dream since childhood to get married at that summer camp! How cute!
To make the wedding even more meaningful, Christi wore her mother's wedding gown, with some alterations, and her father was the pastor. All of their friends and family joined in at the outdoor amphitheater as the two said I do. It was one of the most beautiful locations I've ever seen for a wedding.
The couple kept the rest of the low wedding key, allowing them to spend time with everyone who joined their wedding. I enjoyed the laid back experience; it eliminated the being in a rush to get through traditions and still try and enjoy themselves. It also allowed for a ton of great candid imagery!
Thank you, Noah and Christi, for having me photograph your wedding! Cheers to your new adventure in life! I wish you the best.
